About the course
The 18-hole golf course at Wonthaggi Country Club offers a scenic, well-maintained layout that caters to all levels of golfer—from casual players to regular competitors.
Set on 103 acres of undulating, tree-lined land, the course stretches between 5,766 and 5,863 metres depending on tees. With a par of 71 and an Australian Course Rating (ACR) of 71, it provides just the right amount of challenge, with natural hazards and generous fairways throughout. It’s also home to a friendly community of local golfers—and kangaroos.
Whether you’re joining a weekend comp or just out for a casual hit, it’s a course you’ll enjoy returning to.
Facilities
Wonthaggi Country Club offers a full suite of golf facilities to ensure your experience is comfortable, accessible and enjoyable. Our Pro Shop is well stocked with all the essentials – from clubs and balls to apparel and accessories – and our team is always happy to assist with gear or advice.
Club and cart hire is available for visitors, including both pull buggies and motorised carts, making it easy to play at your own pace. Before you head out, you can warm up on our large practice putting green or take a few swings at our driving range.
One of the unique features of our course is the weekend kangaroo tours. Held in a covered 4WD, these tours give visitors a close-up look at the local kangaroos that roam our fairways – a great experience for families or out-of-town guests.
Green fees are excellent value. Adult rounds start from $25, and juniors under 14 play for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Cart hire ranges from $20 to $35 depending on your needs.
Whether you’re here for a casual game or a comp round, you’ll find everything you need to make the most of your day on course.
Driving Range
Perfect your swing at our practice driving range before heading out on the course.
Our driving range offers a relaxed environment to warm up, work on your technique, or simply enjoy some practice time. Suitable for golfers of all skill levels.
